Wilga Downs offers a laid back atmosphere for events where guests want an authentic country experience. The Barn has hosted wedding receptions and long lunches, the lawn offers a perfect spot for ceremonies and cocktail parties, and there are many points of interest for photography and videography.
Book an eventThe Shearers' Cottage is a quaint, cosy and comfy cottage built in the mid 1900s to accommodate farm workers. It features an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms (one with a king bed, the other a queen), a bathroom with twin showers and hand basins.
Recently refurbished, tastefully decorated and well-equipped, the cottage is situated in a quiet and private part of the farm with expansive views over the countryside to the mountains beyond.
Guests can expect to see (and hear) sheep, cows, horses, kangaroos, wombats, a variety of birds, possums and other wildlife.

Completed in 2023, the main homestead features a large living pavilion, a private wing with two Guest Suites, each with king beds, ensuites, walk-in showers, built-in-robes, large glass doors opening onto individual patios, and expansive views over Wilga Downs and beyond.

Wilga Downs is a 250 acre farm, which for reference is about the combined size of Sydney's Hyde Park, Domain, and Royal Botanic Gardens.
There are three sites with flat gravel parking bays and fire pits, or campers can choose a spot of their choice, within permitted areas of the farm.
Four wheel drive vehicles and off-road caravans/campers are recommended as sites are not accessible by sealed roads. Access is can be difficult after heavy rain.
